For the first part of my research and overall work, I need to draw out my own audience which will assist me with further endeavours in the future. To do this I created a short and quick questionnaire to identify my audience.

The first question I asked on the questionnaire was simply to make sure that the right people where funneled into this section allowing me to truly collect correct information rather than false information from random entries.

The second question was to identify the age of my audience. These results showed me that the average age of my audience is the ’16 – 20′ section, this allows me to see that my audience seem to be teens to young adults. Which initially makes me feel that the cartoony feel to my usual art style will be accepted rather than shunned by the more traditional style.

The third and final question I made sure to ask was the gender, which came out to being almost even between the two. This helped me understand the equal setting of the two which will allow me to feel safe in knowing that my work will be seen by both giving more answers and better feedback.
Having this questionnaire written out and completed I was able to see a clear cut of who and what my target audience is. Having this set I will be allow to send more forms out to help with font and colour choice and other graphical aspects. This is a foundation research blog that allows me to set up for the bigger pieces of work needed in the coming weeks. Next I will be looking into further detail into my target and explain why and how my audience will enjoy my work.
